Kinesiology/Active Rehabilitation

Active rehabilitation is an important step to full recovery.  Joint and muscle dysfunction is often a result of an inability to use and sequentially activate certain key muscles in the body.  A kinesiologist will spend one-on-one time to guide and teach you how to use important muscles and to develop a personalized exercise program to decrease and prevent issues such as:

  • neck and back pain
  • poor posture
  • decreased core strength
  • decreased stability/balance
  • repetitive strains
  • tendonopathies
  • whiplash

Active rehab sessions are most commonly completed during or after physiotherapy treatment for ICBC clients but private sessions are also available
